Design and develop new microwave products (filters, resonant cavities, multi-layer caps etc) for DLI from either internally developed specifications or customer specific requirements.
Organize and support transfer of new products to manufacturing.
Use design programs and/or finite element analysis.
Execute FMEA, SPC, MSA, PRC, and PDP processes.
Dielectric Laboratories products serve the high tech markets of wireless, fiber optics, military and telecom. The candidate should be a motivated self-starter with creative skills in developing solutions to customer requirements and products from broad based specifications.
Skill Set
Experience in circuit design and/or development, element analysis of components and integrated subassemblies. Experience in testing at Microwave frequencies will be a plus.
Previous Filter design experience in the Microwave Frequencies ranges with BandPass Filters, Cavity Filters and even Ceramic filters would surely be a plus.
Experience with design tools like Sonnet, Eagleware or HFSS software packages will be desirable. Candidates having 5+ years of microwave testing/validation experience can also be considered.
Excellent good oral and written communication skills are a must.
Effective time management skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to analyze and interpret data, advanced computer skills including microwave circuit design software.
